*NOTE* Read it all first then attempt
well since i use photoshop cs4/cs3 (works for both and even earlier versions i think) i will show you guys how to use that although if you guys have ur own photoeditor that can change pixel width and length feel free to use those (props to wes for giving me photo!)
1)file>new>make sure you set pixel length and width 150, 500 respectively
2)file>place>(your picture saved onto desktop or myPictures)
3)Stretch the picture to fit (or make w/e its ur choice but i will choose to stretch)
4)choose the Text button [T] and then write w/e u want for this example i will use my name
*NOTE* if you can, try and use multiple layers in case you mess something up and start all over >.<
5)Save it as a jpeg and uploaded to a trusted site such as Photo bucket or Image shack
6)copy the img source file and paste it to the site u want to display ur siggy like here
7)Enjoy! here is one that i made in like 10 minutes i got tired of the wierd lasso tool to cut out images of the steam picture and the counter strike pic
well comment and gl makin ur own sig [btw this took me like an hour to finnaly figure out
