Who Are We?

The John P. Stevens High School Robotics Team is committed to the proliferation of engineering and technology. Located in Edison, NJ, the team participates in various local competitions and events along with the larger F.I.R.S.T. (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) Robotics Competition. It is through this participation that the team hopes to enlighten creative minds and reach out towards the community.

Program

FIRST Robotics is an international program that immerses high school students into the exciting world of engineering. This is an important extra curricular activity, which gives students a chance to team up with engineers from local businesses and learn “hands on”. FRC (FIRST Robotics Competition) is a interactive multidisciplinary engineering project, in which we compete against other schools to design and construct a “champion robot” within a 6 week period.
